About
The Full Story
Born in 1964 in Lucerne, Switzerland, Claudia Zulli showed a passion for art and creativity from a young age. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the fashion industry, she found her artistic beginnings in her parents' alteration studio, where she had the opportunity to design and create her own clothing. This early exposure to craftsmanship and design sparked her lifelong love for artistic expression.
In 1985/86, Claudia expanded her horizons with a stay in London, a city that inspired her creativity and broadened her artistic perspective. After returning to Switzerland, she settled in Malters, a small town in Lucerne, where she continued to develop her skills.
Her family life flourished with the birth of her son, Maurizio, in 1992, followed by her daughter, Milena, in 1994. During this time, she resided in Wolhusen, Lucerne, where she balanced her roles as a mother and an artist.
In 2001, Claudia held her first art exhibition in Lucerne, marking a significant milestone in her career. As her artistic journey continued, she split her time between Wolhusen and Lanciano, Italy. In 2004, she spent an enriching period in Lanciano, where she deepened her knowledge of art through courses in art history and literature at a local art school.
Claudia's creative path led her to explore various forms of artistic expression, including painting, sculpture, and photography. However, it is her innovative use of wine as a medium that has truly set her apart. By skillfully blending wine with traditional painting techniques, she creates captivating and unique artworks that engage the senses and offer a fresh, sensual perspective on art. This unconventional approach adds a fascinating depth to her creations, inviting viewers to experience art in a new and enjoyable way.
Today, Claudia Zulli continues to live and work between Wolhusen and Lanciano, crafting stunning pieces that reflect her passion, creativity, and innovative spirit. Her art remains a testament to her ability to transform everyday materials into extraordinary works that resonate with beauty and emotion.
